Mistake/Error Proofing

Workshop Overview
	This is an overview of Error-Proofing which enables the trainees to understand what it is, how it is applied and the benefits that it provides to your company. This one-day workshop will include examples of the following methods of Error-Proofing a process or operation: Fail-Safe Devices Magnification of Senses Redundancy Countdowns Special Checking and Control Devices Digital photography PQA recommends that this course is a specialized building block to an employee's job skills in the 21st century. As such, all employees involved in or who support measurement systems should have the skill sets taught in this course, and be applying them on-the-job on a regular basis. The techniques covered in this course will enable the trainees to recognize the needs and the issues that will need to be addressed by a company implementing ISO/TS 16949 as a tool for overall business improvement. This course is not mandatory (but highly recommended) for companies who are only interested in ISO/TS 16949 compliance.

You Need to Attend This Workshop If ......
	Your organization suffers from poor reputation, customer complaints, product returns, loss of market share, or unrealistic customer expectations or demands which stem from subjective measurements or specifications. You are a designer, engineer, and technician who need proper measurements for the products, processes, and services you provide or interact with. You are on the implementation team for ISO/TS 16949 and or ISO-14001 implementation for your organization. If you are seeking new skills for your present position, or as preparation for advancing to a more demanding job with Mistake Proofing responsibilities. You have had similar training in the past, but want to develop a deeper understanding or comfort with these topics, or re-certification of your skills.
