Terms and Conditions of
Registration
for PQA's Training Courses
- All prices are stated in Canadian dollars ($ CDN) or USA Dollars
(US $). For courses held in Canada, Federal Goods & Services Tax
(7%) will be added to the price of all course fees.
- PQA's confirmation of registration will be sent to you by e-mail,
fax, or mail. The confirmation of registration is a written
confirmation of the binding contract
between you and PQA; confirms your registration at the requested training course.
Once confirmed by PQA, there are no cancellations or changes permitted to any
registration except as defined and permitted here.
- If PQA has already received your payment in full, and subsequently
receives your request to change training courses (at least 10 full
working days before the start date of the training course, not
counting weekends or legal holidays), then your request to change
training courses will be honoured by PQA, transferring your
registration and payment to another PQA training course without
deduction nor penalty fee.
- With less than 10 full working days remaining before the start of
the training course, the registration may not be transferred to
another training course.
- If no one is willing or able to attend for the seat reserved in
your name at a training course, full payment to PQA for the
registration is still required. However, if full payment is received
by PQA on or prior to the due date (see below, item 6) , and PQA is
notified of the planned vacancy at least 72 hrs. in advance of the
start of the course, you will receive a non-refundable credit of 50%
of the fee paid towards booking a seat at another
PQA training course; provided this re-booking is received by PQA
within 30 days of the scheduled date for the training course
originally booked. "No Shows" without prior payment and warning (as
described above) will not be credited nor refunded in any manner.
- Payment in full for all training course registrations are due in
PQA's hands either: 15 days after the date of registration, or 15 days
after the date of PQA's invoice (if any), or at the door on the day of
the training course, whichever occurs first.
- If a registrant is unable to attend the course reserved, an
alternate person may be sent in their place as a substitute. Please
let PQA know as early as possible so we can adjust our records, name
cards, etc.
- PQA reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the training
course due to lack of enrolment, or other situations beyond the
control of PQA (accident, severe weather, transportation delay, etc.).
If this should occur, you may choose to receive a full refund, or you
may transfer the amount paid towards the cost of another PQA training
course of your choice.
- All of PQA's courses are based on PQA's copyrighted training
materials. Trainees will receive a non-assignable, limited,
non-exclusive copyright license for their personal use of PQA's
training materials. The trainee is prohibited from use of PQA's
materials for the creation of derivative materials, sharing of these
materials to train others, and similar uses. If necessary,
contact PQA for further details.
- Information supplied to, or obtained by PQA during a person's
inquiry about a training course, registration, attending,
participating, or subsequent support by PQA may be recorded, retained,
and used by PQA so as to facilitate PQA's current and subsequent sales
efforts, client support, statistical analysis, to record a person's
current and future needs and preferences, industry trends, and PQA's
Strategic Planning; all in accordance with PQA's policy and procedures
for Personal Information Privacy and
PIPED. All of the information stored by PQA is reasonably
required so as to better serve PQA's prospective clients and past
clients, and to help PQA run an efficient, effective, and profitable
enterprise.
