Summary
The Ontario government is providing up to $50,000 funding to
Ontario manufacturing companies for SMART improvement projects.
The Problem
Ontario manufacturers have already adapted and survived through many bad
years.
Unfortunately, it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better;
possibly as long as another 5 to 10 years before the recession ends.
Can you adapt and survive through another 5 years of the same (or worse)
business climate? Do you still have the same willpower and Can-Do attitude?
You need more than just survival. When the worst is over, you must have
adequate drive, resources, and strength to attack the opportunities that
suddenly appear. You will have to beat the competitors who also survive.
You might survive by continuing to adapt on your own. Many won’t.
The Plan
If you get extra help now, it will be easier to survive the current
recession. Also, you’ll be in better shape when the recession ends, and able
to take advantage of the eventual upswing.
Getting the best available assistance and advice, plus the funding to
implement your chosen plan will be a powerful competitive weapon for you.
The Opportunity
Through this Ontario program, you will get the best technical
assistance and up to $50,000 funding. PQA can help you choose the optimum
project to implement from one or more of the following types of SMART
improvement projects:
- Lean manufacturing
- Lean design
- Quality improvement
- Energy efficiency
- Environmental impact reduction
The Decision
Can't decide which project is truly the best? Not sure where to
start? In a few short months, has business evolved into
something that seems totally different from what you have experienced during
your entire career?
Join the crowd!
We're stressed too. However, we have a fairly good idea why the
changes have happened, where the world is going next, and what things to
consider to plan your go-forward strategy.
There is a separate fund that will pay up to 85% of the cost for PQA to
do a custom assessment of your unique situation. You pay the first
$1,000 and the Ontario government will pick up 100% of the additional cost,
up to $7,000 to do a detailed analysis and recommendation. You get 20
years of excellence in manufacturing to help guide and shape your plan.
When you submit your project proposal, your proposed project has to
compete for funding against all other projects proposed by other
manufacturers. Is it worth some cheap insurance to have an outside
expert check your plans and proposal before you submit your grant funding
request? Get PQA to do a SMART Assessment
to help ensure you get the government funding you need.
The Constraints
The project must improve your operational efficiency. Ideally, the
project will not just improve your efficiency incrementally, but
significantly transform the way you do business, making your company
substantially more competitive.
Act Now !
Funding dollars are limited, and the funding program will expire in the
near future. Applications will be on a first come, first served basis. Don’t
miss out on this significant opportunity for Ontario manufacturers.
Funding is available to all Ontario manufacturers that have been in
business for 2 years or more, have between 10 to 500 employees, and the
company is in good standing with all taxes and government regulations.
